Paris, France – November 11, 2025 — The Paris Chamber of Commerce announced today a €100 million investment to transform Gare Saint-Lazare into Europe’s inaugural AI-powered retail and logistics centre, with completion targeted for December 2026. The initiative aims to integrate advanced artificial intelligence across retail, delivery, and customer service operations, enhancing efficiency and sustainability. Chamber President Marie Dubois stated that the project will “set a new benchmark for urban commerce and logistics.” The development will feature smart inventory systems, automated delivery networks, and interactive shopping experiences, supporting local businesses and creating over 500 new jobs. Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2026.
