Paris, France – November 11, 2025 — The Paris City Council has unveiled an innovative artificial intelligence platform designed to enhance transparency in municipal governance. Beginning 15 November, residents and stakeholders will gain real-time access to lobbying records and draft policies directly from the Hôtel de Ville. Mayor Anne Hidalgo described the initiative as “a major step towards open government,” highlighting its potential to foster greater public trust and civic engagement. The platform, developed in partnership with leading French technology firms, enables citizens to monitor policy development and lobbying activities as they happen. City officials anticipate that this pioneering approach will set a new benchmark for democratic transparency in Europe.
