The brand’s flagship Peach State location is set to open in Fall 2026 at 260 Tangier Outlets Blvd., Suite 400, in Pooler. The brand continues to build momentum in the Southeast United States, with additional units coming to South Carolina and Georgia.
The new restaurant will be owned and operated by cousins and business partners Krish Patel and Sohal Patel. The duo began their professional journey together by launching a rental management company, successfully growing the business before setting their sights on the restaurant industry.
“We have a cousin who owns a Cal Tort in Virginia, and the first time I tried it, I was hooked,” said Krish Patel, Co-Owner of the Pooler California Tortilla. “Sohal and I are big foodies. We really appreciate the brand’s fresh approach and high-quality ingredients, and we’re excited to introduce it to Georgia.”
Spanning approximately 2,400 sq. ft., the Pooler restaurant will also feature an outdoor patio, offering guests the option to dine al fresco. The space will showcase California Tortilla’s signature vibrant design alongside its lineup of bold, flavor-packed menu items.
Guests can expect a menu of chef-inspired, made-to-order favorites, including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, bowls, salads, and more. With a focus on customization, each dish is prepared in real time, allowing guests to tailor their meals to their exact tastes. A standout feature of the brand is its iconic Wall of Flame, offering more than 75 hot sauces ranging from mild to intensely spicy. Guests can dial up the heat as much (or as little) as they like.
“The Wall of Flame is one of my favorite features of the Cal Tort experience,” said Sohal Patel, Co-Owner of the Pooler California Tortilla. “Krish and I are also vegetarians, so we really appreciate the variety of flavorful veggie options and the delicious tofu on the menu.”
California Tortilla currently operates 27 locations across the east coast and continues to grow. The Pooler opening marks an exciting milestone as the brand officially enters the Georgia market.
